3.0 The tennis player is already good at hitting mid-tempo balls, but he cannot always control the strength, direction and depth of his hits. Forehands work best. Attempts to increase the feed, which leads to errors in its execution. The second serve is usually much weaker than the first. The net has difficulty with low swing strokes. He is able to perform simple and medium-difficulty candles.
3.5 The tennis player can control the direction of the shots of medium difficulty, although he lacks a little control of depth and variety, and improves the vision and feel of the court. The player can do light, directional backhand shots, but powerful shots and high bounces still need some work. There is sufficient strength and control when serving. Plays more actively at the net, gets some dribbling shots. Stable smash on light balls.
4.0 The player can perform a variety of blows, knows how to control the depth and direction of the blow, both to the right and to the left. Has in its arsenal a candle, smash, volleys and powerful knocking strikes. Performs the first serve strongly, sometimes at the expense of accuracy. Has experience in using team tactics when playing in pairs.
4.5 Very varied kicks on the ball, effectively using the force and rotation of the ball. Powerfully attacks from the left, while making mistakes only under pressure. The player competently uses power and twist when striking, knows how to control the pace of the game, works well with his legs, controls the depth of his strikes and is able to change tactics in the game depending on the opponent. The tennis player has a strong and accurate first serve, consistently performs the second, and is able to attack near the net.
5.0 The player has a great sense of the ball and can often execute the special shots on which the game is built. The athlete is able to win points, 'kill' balls from the summer, with shortened balls can force the opponent to make mistakes, successfully uses candles, smashes, half-flying hits, and performs the second serve deeply and with strong top rotation.
5.5 The main weapon of a tennis player in the game is powerful strikes and stability. Depending on the situation, the athlete is able to change the strategy and technique of the game, he can perform reliable strikes in difficult moments.
6.0 A tennis player of this level is well qualified and does not need to be classified by the NTRP. Typically 6.0 rated athletes compete in national junior competitions and have a national rating.
6.5 A tennis player of level 6.5 is close to 7.0 in skill and has experience in playing satellites.
7.0 World class athlete participating in various international tennis tournaments. The main source of income for a top-level player is cash prizes awarded in competitions.
